Field Visit: January 24, 2024

We were in Gaziantep and Hatay with Environmental & Social Framework Global Director Maninder Gill and The World Bank representatives. We observed the latest situation in the temporary settlement areas in Nurdağı & Antakya and evaluated it with Nurdağı Coordinator District Governor İrem Çetin.

We observed the importance of social empowerment efforts, especially in disaster areas. We continue to work to increase the impact of the Social Entrepreneurship Center we established in Nurdağı and the Textile Atelier in Islahiye to strengthen the economic capacity and social cohesion in the region.
